Detailed Description
Dry Tea Leaf:
Appearance: Handcrafted to the highest standard, this tea features meticulously selected buds and a two-leaf and a bud structure, richly adorned with soft, woolly silver tips. On March 2nd, 2025, our seasoned experts carefully handpicked the delicate first blossom from the youngish mature clonal section no. CBB1 of the Kimble Division. What sets this tea apart is its remarkable time of manufacture—it was manufactured at exactly 2:30 AM at an elevation of 2,000 feet above sea level from select AV2 and P312 cultivar tea bushes. This singular moment in production captures the pristine early morning essence, preserving the tea’s refined aroma and flavor while enhancing its overall character. The leaves showcase an elegant blend of light and dark green hues, artfully rolled into thin, wiry silver tips that impart a distinctive floral fragrance and flavor to the tea liquor.
Fragrance: Before brewing, the dry tea reveals a captivating fragrance that hints at the sensory delights to come. The aroma is reminiscent of Himalayan Honeysuckle in full bloom—fresh, floral, and delicately sweet. This enchanting scent evokes serene mountain mornings, promising a refined and elevated tea experience.
Liquor:
Appearance: Brighter shades of sparkling light lemon. Champagne in its truest essence.
Fragrance: Once steeped, the tea liquor unveils its own story. It exudes a nectar-like sweetness, beautifully complemented by vibrant floral notes akin to the scent of Himalayan Honeysuckle. The brewed tea fills the air with an inviting aroma that is both soothing and invigorating, setting the stage for a truly immersive tasting experience.
Flavor: The flavor profile of this tea is a revelation for the palate. With a naturally sweet, nectar-like mouthfeel, the initial sip bursts with a delicate sweetness that gradually unfolds into a complex flavor symphony. Notes of ripe Sonaka green grapes from Central India emerge, leaving a lingering, resonant aftertaste that evolves with each sip. On a second steep, the tea deepens in character—its floral nuances become more pronounced, and the sweetness intensifies, offering an experience that is as dynamic as it is memorable.
No of Infusion: 2
Tea maker: A heartfelt compliment is extended to Mr. Mahesh Lama, the man behind this tea, who braved the early hours to meticulously hand-pick with his team and crafted this exquisite tea. Every sip is a testament to the care and precision he pours into his craft.
