Detailed Description

Dry Tea Leaf:

Appearance: The dry leaf presents a beautifully composed palette — a predominant base of warm, light brown twisted leaves interspersed with sparse touches of soft sage green, lending the blend a quiet, earthy contrast. Most striking, however, is the generous abundance of silver tips that catch the light with a fine, downy luminescence, hinting at the careful hand-plucking and the tender young buds selected at the height of the second flush season.

The overall appearance is one of quiet refinement — unhurried, well-crafted, and unmistakably Darjeeling in character. The silver tips, plentiful and prominent, speak to the garden's commitment to quality and the AV2 clone's natural propensity for producing bud-rich, aromatic harvests.

At a glance: Light brown twisted leaf · Sparse sage green · Abundant silver tips · Fine downy bloom

Fragrance: The dry leaf opens with a graceful lift of delicate white florals, evoking fresh blossoms in cool mountain air. A warm, golden honey sweetness follows — refined and unforced — before settling into a soft, velvety musk that grounds the fragrance with quiet depth. Brief, yet beautifully layered - White blossom, Wildflower honey and Soft musk.

Liquor:

Appearance: Sparkling hues of bright hues of sunrise.

Fragrance: The brewed liquor releases a warmer, more expressive version of the dry leaf — florals now in full bloom, honey notes deepened and rounded by heat, and the musk rising with a gentle, lingering sweetness that fills the cup with quiet elegance. Full blossom, warm honey with deep musk and soft sweetness.

Tasting Notes: The first sip arrives with a delicate, fleeting astringency at the tip of the tongue — just enough to awaken the palate and signal a tea of substance, yet far too gentle to linger or distract. It dissolves almost instantly, making way for a smooth, buttery texture that glides across the palate with quiet confidence.

As the liquor settles, layers begin to unfold. Soft florals rise first — refined and unhurried, reminiscent of white blossoms carried on a cool highland breeze. A warm sweetness follows, evoking the richness of wildflower honey at its most natural, never sugary, always measured. Woven beneath is a gentle musk that adds depth and character, grounding the brighter notes into a harmonious, well-rounded whole.

The finish is where this tea truly distinguishes itself — long, clean, and persistently floral, with the honey musk refusing to fade too quickly, leaving a deeply satisfying warmth on the palate that invites the next sip.

Palate Profile: Delicate astringency · Smooth buttery body · White blossom · Wildflower honey · Soft musk · Long lingering finish
